Healthy X Change, LLC
Healthy X Change (HXC) was developed over a period of twelve years to provide the next generation of consumer-driven health care. The name comes from the concept of exchanging employers' and employees' health insurance expenditures for investment dollars. HXC utilizes a self-funded health care plan to lower costs and promote superior health. From this mechanism HXC will not only arrest the outrageous rise in health care costs but actually transpose them.

HXC is the creation of Warren Barberg, CLU, and a panel of notable experts in their fields.

Mr. Barberg's vision of a reasonable alternative to the majority of existing health care plans came to him several years ago when he was a spokesperson for the insurance industry and was invited to present his ideas to congress. His theme: it is folly to carry on in a "business-as-usual" fashion. A federal 'One Payer' Program is not acceptable to the Insurance Industry or to the US Citizens and our present third-party-payer system is experiencing unaffordable cost increases. Unless we develop a new private sector system, the health care environment will only get worse as costs rise and more patients get sick. With few exceptions, no one, in Congress or anywhere else was satisfied with the double digit annual cost increases of health insurance. If anything, they feared the spiraling cost increases would continue, in effect churning the entire system out of control.

The Future of Health Care

By January, 2003, and after a myriad of hours of research and discussion Barberg and his team had developed the initial stages of what later would become HEALTHY X CHANGE. Altogether they were committed to have the program emphasize WELLNESS and PREVENTION instead of merely treating disease and injury, and to provided significant financial incentives to plan members to reach their gainful individual health goals.

HXC was incorporated as an LLC in the state of Wisconsin on April 3, 2002. Executive offices are located at:
