Healthy X Change is your Solution
The employee gets financial rewards—as much as $3,000 per employee—and the employer increases profits due to a reduction in healthcare costs, increased productivity, and decreased absenteeism.
Where do you get the money for this program? Remember, money is a universal motivator. Rather than paying a third-party payer (an insurance company) for the employee's heath care, the money will now come from a self-funded insurance program. When major claims are made—such as those requiring hospitalization—the employer's “stop-loss” insurance kicks in to cover the costs above the established limits. Because this is a self-funded insurance program, you have control over how the money is allocated and where the profits of the program will be distributed.
Utilizing a high deductible health plan (HDHP) in conjunction with a health savings account (HSA) you can additionally reduce your employees' healthcare expenditures.
